Ellerau (also Erlenbach) is a land municipality circle-belonging in the south of Schleswig-Holstein. It lies near Quickborn north of Hamburg and belongs to the circle Segeberg.

Geografie

Ellerau is appropriate for a small brook to the Krumbek. The southwest border of the municipality is formed by the Gronau, the western by the Pinnau. In the north of the Gemarkung the Ebach flows.

In the local centre from Ellerau the Krumbek becomes some pondsaccumulated, which lie in a small park.
