Epe is a municipality of the province funds country (the Netherlands) in the landscape Veluwe. It had at the 1. January 2005 approx. 33,100 inhabitants. To it the villages Epe, Vaassen, Emst, Oene and some small localities belong.

Vaassen and Epe are to Zwolle because of the motorway Apeldoorn -, and/or. 5 and 15 km. north of Apeldoorn. Vaassen has some metallurgy. Important sources of income are the tourism and the agriculture.
