field mountain place („the highest in the Black Forest “) is to the highest collection of Baden-Wuerttemberg on the passport height of the field mountain route between the meadow valley in the south and the property oh valley in the north, directly under the summit of the field mountain. Field mountain lies in the midst of the nature park south Black Forest.

the first documentary mention of the field mountain is well-known from the year 983, the municipality under the same name developed however only 1939, by the combination of the isolated pasture areas with the municipality bear valley.

this place name already says, refers waste glass huts like the name to a glasswork, which was created 1634. Since the municipality reform of 1971 the local part belongs to the municipality field mountain.

new glassworks

the range from new glassworks after an inquiry of 1682 was assigned to the Glasbläsern, in order to be able to supply it further with wood. The incorporation took place 1971.

Falkau
