Felix Slavik
Felix Slavik (* 3. May 1912 in Vienna; † 6. October 1980 ebenda) was a Austrian mechanic and politician of the social-democratic party of Austria.
Felix Slavik learned the occupation of the precision mechanic in the years 1926 to 1929 at the continuation school for mechanical engineering and exercised him up to the end of the Second World War . Occasionally he worked also in a weaving mill. Against end of war in the years 1943 to 1945 it was active as Magazineur. After completion of the war the political career of Felix Slavik began. In the year 1945 it became already member of the Upper House of Parliament and in the year of 1949 delegates the national council. This office held Felix Slavik up to the year 1957 .
After Felix Slavik vice-mayors Wiens was nearly twelve years long, finally became it to 21. December 1970 as new mayors of the city selected. During its term of office it occurred underground particularly against - a building Vienna. Felix Slavik withdrew already after three years as a mayor, since an opinion poll went out negatively over the sheeting of the observatory park in Währing for him.
