Formazza (dt. Pomatt) is a municipality with 461 inhabitants (conditions: 2004) in the Italian province Verbano Cusio Ossola (VB), region Piemont. It covers the Val Formazza, the highest section from the river of the Toce (wdt. Riis) of formed valley.
