Friedrich Halstenberg

Dr. jur. Friedrich Halstenberg (* 12. June 1920 in throwing/Westphalia) is a German lawyer and politician (SPD).

Halstenberg studied jurisprudence, attained a doctorate 1957 and was 1954 to 1962 Secretary-General in the German federation for housings, town construction and space planning.

It belonged to the Federal Department of Construction as Ministerialdirigent 1962 to 1965 and was 1967 to 1972 undersecretary of state as well as boss of the state chancellery in North Rhine-Westphalia. As a member of the SPD it drew 1972 into the North-Rhine/Westphalian federal state parliament .

To 13. September 1972 was appointed Halstenberg as a national Minister for Federal matters into the government bold.
