set of rules

like each championship is subject also the football WM determine rules. In order to be allowed to participate in the soccer world championship, the national team of any country must get over the qualification. In this qualification all of the FIFA recognized crews stepagainst each other on. The qualification is divided into several groups and orients themselves at the continents. Depending upon region there are again easily modified qualification conditions. A goal of each crew is it to become first in the respective group. Secondthe groups must begin in the Relegation against other group second. The winners of these portions and group first participate in the final round.

These 31 crews play with the before determined host country in approx. one month continuing contest around the titlethe world champion, who is assigned every 4 years. In the first tournament phase (group phase) the 32 crews are divided after the coincidence principle into 8 groups with in each case 4 crews. Each team has to deny therein 3 plays against its group opponents. EveryoneVictory does not bring 3 points, an undecided one point and a defeat brings a point. The two point-weakest crews separate after the 3 plays. Point equality exists according to different criteria the better is determined. First is the number of shotGates in relation to the number of Gegentore. The two point-best teams remain in the tournament. In the coming phases the K applies. - for o. - System i.e. only the winner comes into the next in each case round. It stands at expiration of the regular 90Play time still undecided, the play goes to minutes into the extension. In the past the rules were amended again and again. However the regulations were not as for instance golden the Goal or the Silver Goal from very long duration.

In thatthe two teams, interrupted from a short break, play classical play way, which applies at the WM 2006 again, twice 15 minutes. The crew, which obtains in the extension more gates, won. Still none should after the extensionWinners are certain, then the penalty shootout begins. From the point of eleven-meter at the gate one shoots. A player shoots at the gate, during the opposing Torwart tries the ball to hold. Afterwards a player of the other crew shoots at the gateand the Torwart that different crew tries in each case to hold the ball. The players those on the gate shoot rotate, i.e. it shoots never a player twice at the gate. The Torwart must be always at a crew the same. ThatWinner of the penalty shootout stands firmly if both crews in each case 5 times shot. If it should stand thereafter still for undecided, alternate contactors of both crews until malfunctions contactors.

After in the group phase already half thatCrews separated remain only to 16, which play in the rounds of the last sixteen around getting ahead. Group first plays against group second of another group. The winners deny one of 4 plays, which are called quarter finals. The winners of these portionsmay draw into one of 2 semi-finals. The two losers of these plays deny the “small-final”. Here it concerns a play around the third place of the WM, which take place briefly before the final. The final is one the prestigeträchtigsten, most popular and surely also heaviest sporty hurdles some football player to experience knows. The winner of this Finals receives the cup and may for four years world champions call itself.

1930 ago one knows history the tournament during and laterdesignate apart from the olympic plays as forerunners. At the latest with the plays 1928 became recognizable the effect international football tournament.

The time of the organized football began 1863 with the establishment the football Association in London. At this time was that British Empire the most influential nation of the world, it had bases and British ships in the entire world its was in each port to be found. This historical characteristic was the basis for the world-wide spreading of the English football rules within a generation. The first plays outside of the British islands were organized in seas port by British sailors.

During outgoing 19. Century in Europe and America many national federations were created, which made the organization possible of international meetings for the first time.

The first play between representatives nationalFederations found to 30. November 1872 in London between Scotland and England instead of, result 0:0.

The 21. May 1904 was a further milestone of football history, on this day in the French federation house the FIFA was based and thus national thinkingprevented. Nevertheless it should take many decades, until the American federations got an important influence on the policy of the FIFA coined/shaped by the European federations.

In July 1905 the second FIFA congress took place and the Dutchman Carl Anton Willem deer manmade the suggestion of a world championship. For this purely European meeting it had already provided a play plan and should the delivering country Switzerland be. The congress participants were inspired, but no acts followed many words.

Up to the first football WM 1930 in Uruguaythe olympic plays served replacement WM as a kind.

From view of the Olympioniken football for the plays was unsuitable, because it was not kind of match haven, but only one play, and they regarded this kind of sport as a Showeinlage. 1896 were it not inProgram, and four years later in Paris were only France, Belgium and England present. In pc. Louis was it a purely North American meeting with two crews. A stroke of luck for the future of the international football was the assignment of the plays onLondon 1908. In the homeland of the football one could expect a professional organization. Beside England the federations from Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands set up a crew. France sent even two teams into the British capital. Winners became convincingly the Englishmen.Only for their 2:0 in the final they had to fight. The opponent was Denmark, which could set up the strongest crew of Continental Europe at that time.

1912 was it already 13 participants, and the final meeting repeated itself. With a 4:2 the Englishmen would know olympic goldachieve.

1920 were Antwerp the center of the football world, and 14 crews fought for the first place. In the final Belgium faced each other and Czechoslovakia. During the play the Tschechoslowaken felt disadvantaged by the arbitrator, and this led to the fact thatthey the playing field left. Thus they this-qualified and Belgium as the winner explained themselves.

1924 became it a world tournament. Beside the Europeans Egypt sent a team. For many decades this should be the only African crew, which onesuch a tournament to see got. Likewise with it were an US-American crew, which consisted however mostly of European immigrants, as well as the team from Uruguay. A perfectly unknown size, but that should already change with the first play. Those Parisians could experience football of another continent. Until 1924 was the south Americans under itself remained, and developed it a much more dynamic football than it in Europe was maintained. The first meeting of the “Urus” was against Yugoslavia, and itwas a football celebration. At the latest with the sieved gate the American crew controlled the play and used ball control for Showeinlagen. The superiority remained to the world over the entire tournament and the final showed, what was to be expected. Before oneWindow blind of 60.000 spectators defeated Uruguay Swiss crew with 3:0.

1928 one could call two years general sample for the world championship later. The convincing representation of South American football four years before led to the fact that before the plays many crewsfrom this continent to appearances into Europe were invited. The football fever had seized and led Europe to the first use of special trains during the plays. An olympia participant had to be amateur, which led to the fact that many important countries in Amsterdam were missing. Althoughmany players from South America for its guest appearances money took, were considered them still as amateurs and this made possible the participation of Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. Altogether 18 crews participated in this tournament. The later final participants defeated their opponents problem-free.An impressing meeting was the half final play between Italy and Uruguay. A 3:2 secured the participation in the final for Uruguay. Argentina had lighter opponents, and Egypt was defeated with 6:0 in the semi-final. The final was a play between two point teams, and thoseEnthusiasm of the Europeans struck itself down on the sales of the tickets. It gave clearly more prospective customer than tickets for this play. At the time at that time gift it still no extension and the first play was a 1:1. This Remis led tosecond play, and this time the Argentinier with 2:1 was defeated.

The FIFA became clear that the amateur rule of the IOC represented a problem, and therefore decided one to 28. To organize May 1929 a world championship. Some European countries wanted besideUruguay this meeting make possible. In the course of the time the group of the Europeans became smaller and at the end was only Italy, Hungary and Uruguay remaining. The Argentine delegated Adrian Beccar Varela gave a flaming speech for its neighboring country, which thoseboth European competitors convinced. Whitsuntide 1929 was intended Montevideo for the venue the first football world championship.
