the cooperative wine cellar Heilbronn Erlenbach Weinsberg e.G., briefly also WG Heilbronn, is to be developed a large wine gardner cooperative in the north of the Weinbaugebiets Württemberg, in which several hundred wine gardners united, in order their Weintrauben together keltern, to wine and marked out to leave.

history
forerunners of the cooperative wine cellar were the wine gardner cooperatives of each other neighbouring places Heilbronn, Erlenbach and Weinsberg, the 1868 (wine mountain), 1888 (Heilbronn) and 1948 (Erlenbach) based were and itself to 14. June 1972 united. The again created WG on Erlenbacher area took their seat in the district Heilbronn, directly at the border to the city Heilbronn, where starting from that 1. June 1973 a large wine cellar and administration building was established, in to 4. Octobers 1974 for the first time read grapes/clusters were received.

of members of the WG are approximately 650 wine gardner families, of it about 450 full acquisition enterprises which manage together 670 hectars of Rebfläche. Per year by them about 7 million kg grapes/clusters are delivered, of which the WG makes 5 million litre wine. The storage capacities of the WG (bottle and fuel depots) were extended 1984 and to cover about 19.5 million litre wine. Around the 60 coworkers (of it 40 in full time) and 6 training find with the WG work. Thus the WG Heilbronn, after the WZG in Möglingen , is one of the largest wine gardner cooperatives in Württemberg, about up with the rem valley wine cellar in wine city - bag brook and the wine gardner cooperative Lauffen in Lauffen at the Neckar.

Also sparkling wine, Perl wine, Likör and liquor are made of the grapes/clusters.
Despite the large quantities the WG Heilbronn produces also qualitatively outstanding wines, which obtain numerous prices with land and federal wine premium run gene. The DLG classified the WG Heilbronn at place 47 of the 100 best viticulture enterprises of Germany on the occasion of the Bundesweinprämierung 2005.
