George Jacob
George Jacob (* 1862 ; † 1937; were an Islam scientist and a Orientalist and the founder of the modern Turkologie in Germany.

Jacob was first active at the University of attaining, and changed 1911 to the University of Kiel, where it took over the chair for Orientalistik from George Hoffmann.
