George Dougthy
George Dougthy (* 16. December 1918 in Dale Abbey, Derbyshire) is an English composer and Tubist (Euphonium).
Already in the infancy he learned wind instruments and already worked with 7 years into the Collingh Brass volume. With 9 years it changed from the Eb-horn to the Euphonium. With 12 years he was already soloist in that Brass volume. With 14 years it changed together with its 4 years older brother first in CROSS-waves Colliery volume later and with the Derby Borough policy volume, in order to gain more experiences and acquire themselves further play techniques. The Derby Borough policy volume was directed for a short time by Harry Mortimer, which made a large radix complement for him, by stating that he regarded him as one of the best Euphonium players of Great Britain.
1980 were opened to it the chance to study at the Valiviu college OF music. That it accepted naturally gladly and participated with full eagerness.
