Georgi Markow
Georgi Iwanow Markow (Bulgarian ГеоргиИвановМарков; * 1. March 1929 in Sofia, † 11. September 1978 in London) was a Bulgarian writer.

life
Markow emigrierte 1969 from Bulgaria.
It became to 7. September 1978 in London (on the Waterloo Bridge) wounds, by stinging it with the so-called umbrella assassination attempt into the thigh, whose point with 40 µg Rizin was prepared. This was probably done via an agent of the BulgarianSecret service, which departed thereafter with a taxi.
Markow survived the attempted assassination not and died after three days with fever and Hypotonie at heart failure.
