the trade union food benefit restaurants (NGG) is one of the 8 single trade unions in the German trade union federation (DGB) with seat in Hamburg.
The trade union NGG was created 1949. It represents the interests of the persons employed among other things from the industries baking trades, meat and fish, beverages, hoteland guest trades, milk, sweet goods, fruit and vegetable, sugar and tobacco. The trade union NGG looks on longest tradition of all German trade unions back, because one of its forerunner organizations of the 1865 is in Leipzig created general one German Cigarrenarbeiter association. This applies, among other things because of its centralStructure, as organizational model for the trade unions in Germany.
