Giovanni Falcone

Giovanni Falcone (* 18. May 1939 in Palermo, † 23. May 1992 in Capaci with Palermo) was an Italian lawyer and „mafia - hunters “.

Falcone is considered as symbol figure of the fight against the organized criminality in the south of Italy. Beginning of the 1980er years developed it in Palermo a special commission for the fight of the Cosa Nostra .
