Ohio the Goodyear of animals & Rubber company of the two ethnic Germans brothers franc and Charles Seiberling. In the year 1898 the 38-jährige franc Seiberling, one of nine children of an inventor and a repeated owner of patent, bought in Akron in the Federal State Ohio a shut down factory.

The recession in the early 20's-years made also Goodyear to create, and the brothers Seiberling had to leave their enterprise in favor of new high-level personnel. As also after the world economic crisis of 1929 Goodyear recovered however and became 1926 the india rubber producer leading world-wide.
The enterprise concentrated soon on the global sales market. 1910 were built the first manufacturing work outside of the USA, in Canada, based starting from 1912 selling addresses and factories in numerous European countries and in Australia , South Africa and South America.
1927 opened the first European tire work of the enterprise in England.
