Large Colombia
Gran Colombia, large Colombia is consisting a historical state thing, of Colombia, Ecuador, Panamá and Venezuela, which were created 1813 by Simón Bolívar.
The state assembled in the congresses of Angostura (1819) (today Ciudad Bolivar) and Cucuta (1821).
The official name of the state was „República de Colombia “(Republic of Colombia). The designation „large Colombia “was introduced by historians, in order to differentiate the republic at that time from the recent state (developed 1830) of same name.
Large Colombia had essentially followed from the viceroy realm Neugranada, and from nine new states, which developed from the Spanish colonial possession in central and South America:

- Chile (1810/18),
- Bolivia (1824/25),
- Peru (1821)
- Mexico (1821)
- large Colombia (1819)
- United States of central America (1823)
- Uruguay (1815/28)
Simón Bolívar tried to unite Peru as a president with large Colombia. But large Colombia divided itself in the year 1830 in Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia . Colombia the State of Panama split itself off in the year 1903 under US-American pressure ( Panama channel ).
