Hans Otto Bäumer
Hans Otto Bäumer (* 26. December 1926 in Velbert; † 24. November 1998 in Duesseldorf) was a German trade unionist and politician (SPD).
Bäumer studied jurisprudence and national economy in peppering castle after the Abitur. Subsequently, it occurred the law service, was to 1962 national work judges North Rhine-Westphalia and 1962 to 1967 judges at the Federal Labor Court in Kassel.
Within the German trade union federation Bäumer became 1959 directors/conductors of the department for industrial law and employment administration. As a member of the SPD it was 1956 to 1967 as well as 1975 to 1979 of city delegates in Velbert and there 1961 to 1967 also mayor. Besides it belonged 1961 to 1967 to the executive committee of the North-Rhine/Westphalian standard ware, whose chairman was he in the year 1967.
From 1962 to 1967 as well as 1975 to 1985 he belonged to the North-Rhine/Westphalian federal state parliament . to 1967 to 1975 he officiated besides as a head of the provincial government of the district government Duesseldorf.
After the resignation from Diether Deneke Bäumer in May 1979 as the national Minister for nutrition, agriculture and forests into the government Rau one appointed. Differences with the Prime Minister led finally 1983 to its resignation.
