Hans's William Auer


Hans William Auer (* 16. April 1847 in Wädenswil; † 30. August 1906 in Konstanz) was a Swiss architect.

He was son of a buyer and studied 1865 to 1868 at the inhabitant of zurich polytechnic institute with Gottfried Semper and then at the Viennese building academy with Theophil of Hansen. 1874 he became a its assistant and later professor. 1882 to 1892 it led the building of the east wing of the German Parliament Buildings in Berne and built thereafter also from 1894 to 1902 central parliament building. 1902 he became an honour doctor of the University of Basel and honour citizen of the city Berne.
