Harmonious one
Harmonious one are integral Multiple of a certain Basic frequency (Basic clay/tone). They play both in that Music as also in Mechanics, Electro-technology and Optics a role. The complete designation would be actually correct "harmonious frequency", is so not common however.
The dominant mode has the order n = 1.
Teilschwingungen of integral order are called harmonics or harmonious ones.
Most periodic oscillations in the technology cannot be described by smooth sinusoidal curves, separate only to be explained by the overlay of a dominant mode (harmonious one) and harmonics (higher harmonious ones, Ultraharmoni). That is, the frequency spectrum consists of the basicharmonious and Ultraharmoni.
Example: Standard tuning tone A with the three following harmonious ones:
- Basic frequency: 440 cycles per second
- 2., 3. and 4. Harmonious one: 880 cycles per second, 1320 cycles per second, 1760 cycles per second. That is 1., 2. and 3. Overtone with n = 2, n = 3 and n = 4.
A spectrum of Analyzer is equipment, the one frequency spectrum determines.
