Home port

the home port of a ship is the port, in which the ship is registered.

A ship does not have to start this port compellingly sometime. In particular by Ausflaggung there are ships, which were not ever seen in their home port. Fishing vessels must carry however in the fishery characteristics a reference to the home port.
