in the year 991 Hemmingen was mentioned for the first time documentary. After becoming extinct the gentlemen von Hemmingen were the Nippenburger local gentlemen and afterwards the family Varnbüler (until today). The Evangelist Laurentiuskirche with their to in 12.Century handing tower walls is the oldest Monument at the place. It received in 14. Jh. a magnificent gothical choir. Extensions after the sides and in the height coined/shaped further building history. Piece of splendour at the exterior is the portal of 1600 with the figures of the Paulus andPetrus.
