Herma Bauma

Hermine “Herma” Bauma (* 23. Jänner 1915 in Vienna; † 9. February 2003 in Vienna) was a Austrian light athlete and Handballerin.

Bauma began only with 16 years with the Leichtathletiktraining, first in the Sprint as well as high and Weitsprung. By accident she came to the javelin and could successfully become generally accepted there already soon. 1936 qualified itself it with new European record of 45,71 m for the olympic plays in Berlin, where she missed bronze only by ten centimeters.
