Hermann of Mallinckrodt

Hermann of Mallinckrodt (* 5. February 1821 in Minden; † 26. May 1874 in Berlin) was a German politician.

Mallinckrodt was one of the schlagfertigsten Vorkämpfer of the catholic central party and contributed substantially to their establishment since center of the 1860er years.

Mallinckrodt was son of the Prussian upper government advice Detmar of Mallinckrodt, the government vice-president in Minden and Aachen was. After the study of the jurisprudence in Berlin and Bonn he was from 1842 to 1843 Auskulator at the land and city court of Paderborn, afterwards served he one year with 6. From 1844 to 1848 Mallinckrodt was a junior lawyer, first at the government in Münster, starting from 1846 then in Erfurt. Politically gentleman man of Mallinckrodt worked since 1852, when he was selected for the first time in Prussian Lower House. There it is considerably involved in the establishment of the catholic parliamentary group.
