Hestrie Cloete
Hestrie Cloete (* 26. August 1978 in Germiston, South Africa) is a South African light athlete.
The 1.85 m large Hochspringerin belong to the schillernden personalities of the Leichathletikszene. It smokes daily a packing cigarettes, eats, which likes it and brings nevertheless for years maximum output. With the olympic plays 2000 in Sydney and 2004 in Athens won it the silver medal in each case. With the Leichtathletikweltmeisterschaften 2001 in Edmonton and 2003 in Paris became it world champion in each case. Their victory in Paris brought it with 2,06 into the proximity of the world record of Stefka Kostadinova, which the existing Africa record is simultaneous. After the olympic plays 2004 it decided to make a baby break, then however its further career endangered. In the autumn it became more schwanger, lost however its child. In addition it could be separated from its married man. After zehnmonatiger training break it will not participate in the Leichtathletikweltmeisterschaften 2005 in Helsinki.
