Universities in Cologne

Cologne has today 11 universities. It is thereby one of the three gössten university cities in Germany. In direct neighbourhood, in Brühl (Rhine country), still two further universities are settled, which orient themselves also toward Cologne. There is nearly nothing that one cannot study in Cologne. Thereby the field of the political sciences is particularly strong and variously. Certainly Cologne is coined/shaped as multi-cultural city also by the fact that about 10% are the inhabitant student. • The catholic professional school North Rhine-Westphalia was created 1971 from 14 higher technical schools for social work , Sozialpädagogik and Heilpädagogik as well as Institut for Religionspädagogik. It carried of the catholic ore - and/or dioceses Aachen, meal, Cologne, Münster and Paderborn. Smaller departments are in Aachen, Münster and Paderborn.

• Europe professional school Fresenius Cologne is a branch office Europes professional school Fresenius, which was opened in the winter semester 2003/ 2004. It is a nationally recognized, private university in free working group, which offers Bachelor courses of studies in operating, medium, health economy as well as commercial law and restaurant economics in Cologne.
