Ilyushin Il-28 (NATO code name: Beagle) was a Soviet twin-jet front bomber aircraft, which was produced in large numbers of items. Countries, in which it was located except the USSR in the employment, were among other things Afghanistan, Egypt, Albania, the ČSSR, the GDR, Finland, Indonesia, Nigeria, Poland, Romania and Hungary. In China it was likewise manufactured in large quantity as Harbin H-5 under license.

development
