Ingrid Thulin
Ingrid Thulin (* 27. January 1926 in being, Sweden; † 7. January 2004 in Stockholm) was a Swedish actress.
Ingrid Thulin began dancer as a young girl first as ballet -, before she studied play at the royal play school in Stockholm. After its study it was engaged at the royal dramatic theatre in Stockholm. There she already co-operated end of the 1940er years with the director Ingmar Bergman , who admits her with the film savage strawberries beyond the borders of Sweden made and with it in the main role into the silence its perhaps most famous film turned. Together with Bibi Andersson one and later live Ullmann was promoted it to the most important actresses in Bergmans films.
Into the 1960er years moved it to Italy and played also there at the theatre. International film productions followed and. A. under the director Luchino Visconti.
When it got sick with cancer, it returned to its homeland Sweden and died 2004 in Stockholm.
