Jean Achille Deville
Jean Achille Deville (* 1789 in Paris, † 10. January 1875 ebenda) was a French scholar.
Deville was active since 1827 as a revenue officer in Rouen and became a late director of the there museum for antiquity customer. It wrote among other things a history of the abbey Saint Georges de Bocherville (Rouen 1827), the Château Gaillard (Rouen 1829), the lock and the Mr. von Tancarville (Rouen 1834) and the lock Arques (Paris 1839).
Besides he wrote volume over the grave plants of Münster von Rouen (Rouen 1833) and over the building masters of the cathedral from Rouen to the end 16. Century (1848).
