Jens Eriksen
Jens Eriksen (* 30. December 1969) is a male bath min clay/tone player from Denmark.
It played bath min clay/tone with Olympia 2004 in the man double and Mixed.
In the man double Eriksen had and its partner Martin Lundgaard Hansen a free lot in the first round and defeated in the second round Howard brook and Kevin Qi Han from the USA. In the quarter final Eriksen and Hansen Fu Haifeng and Cai Yun from China with 3:15, 15:11, 15:8 struck. They were subject to Lee Dong Soo and Yoo Yong Sung from South Korea with 9:15 , 15:5, 15:3 and also the match in the semi-final around the bronze medal against closely Hian and Flandy Limpele from Indonesia with 15:13, 15:7, in order to become finally fourth.
It participated also in the mix OD competition with its Partnerin Mette Schjoldager. They defeated Svetolav Stoyanov and Victoria WRIGHT from France in first and Kim Yong Hyun and Lee Hyo young from South Korea in the second round. In the quarter final Eriksen and Schjoldager struck new facts Widianto and Vita Marissa from Indonesia with 15:12, 15:8, in order to penetrate into the semi-final. There they lost June and Gao Ling from China with 15:9 , 15:5 against Zhang. In the match around the bronze medal they defeated the Danish land friends Jonas racing having and Rikke Olsen with 15:5, 15:5, in order to finally achieve the bronze medal.
It missed the chance to win two medals with the same olympic summer games as a first Danish sportsman for 20 years (since Henning Lynge Jacobsen 1984).
