John Ssebaana Kizito

John Ssebaana Kizito (* 1934 in the district Luwero) is a ugandischer politician.

It studied economic science at the Makerere university as well as at the university of Oregon. 1965 to 1980 he worked as a chairman that national Insurance corporation (social security company). 1980 to 1985 he was a parliament delegate for Kampala west. Under Museveni it was finally 1986 to 1987 Ministers for regional co-operation, then until 1989 Ministers for cooperative ones and marketing and 1989 to 1991 Ministers for housebuilding and town planning. He is since 1999 a mayor of the ugandischen capital Kampala.

Ssebaana is besides a chairman of the Democratic party (DP) and was the candidate of this party with the presidency elections to 23. February 2006, with which it could win however only 1.58 per cent of the voices.
