Julia Migenes
Julia Migenes (* 13. March 1949 in New York) is an US-American Sopranistin and actress.
Migenes is puerto ricanischer descent and began its career with small roles at Broadway into the 1960er years in musical the Carnival! and west simmers story. With the role of Tevjes daughter Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof succeeded to it the break-through. It had their largest success as Carmen in the filming of the same name of the opera of Georges Bizet at the side of Plácido Domingo into the 1980er years. 1970 were honoured Migenes with the Bambi.
Julia Migenes is married in third marriage since 1988 with the Hungarian film director Peter Medak and from her two first marriages nut/mother of two children. She is follower of the Scientology sect.
