Julius Fučík (composer)
Julius Ernest William Fučík (* 8. July 1872 in Prague; † 15. September 1916 ebenda) was a Czech composer and Kapellmeister.
In Prague it studied bassoon, violin and Schlagzeug and took after its music study composition instruction with Antonín Dvořák.
1891 it occurred Hungarian Infantrie regiment 49 to Austria - Krems at the Danube the military service. Until 1894 it played under the conductor Joseph Franz Wagner. 1895 it returned to Prague and began a place as second bassoonist at the German theatre in Prague . 1896 it ascended to the conductor of the Prager of city orchestra and the Danica choir in Sisak in Croatia and became 1897 Militärkapellmeister at the Infantrie regiment 86 in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Further stations of the well-known military musician were Budapest and Theresienstadt.
After its wedding Fučík worked starting from 1913 in Berlin, where he created and mainly kompositorisch worked the speed publishing house.
With its chapels it gave place concerts in Prague and Berlin forwards over 10.000 listeners.
Fučik left over 400 compositions, among them a fair and a Requiem.
