Juri Chechi
Juri Dimitri Chechi (* 11. October 1969 in Prato) is an Italian Turner.
It won the gold medal at the rings with the olympic plays 1996 in Atlanta. 2004 it became again third at the same equipment.
Its pointed name is “master of the rings”, since it is specialized in this discipline. Its parents gave it the first name after the Russian cosmonaut Juri Gagarin.
With the olympic plays 2004 in Athens it carried the Italian flag with the Eröfnungsfeier. Also with the olympic winter plays in Turin 2006 it had a basic role, when it introduced the opening celebration with hammer blows.
