Karl Tellenbach
Karl Tellenbach (* 6. April 1877 in milling rings; † 31. July 1931 in Berne), in the vernacular denting brook Kari, applied in Swiss federal city Berne approximately starting from 1910 as city original.
Tellenbach was born 1877 in emmentalischen milling rings as a son of the farmer Friedrich Tellenbach. After a Coiffeurlehre in Worb he was from 1894 to 1896 Coiffeurgeselle in Murten, 1901 became he Coiffeurmeister. Starting from 1896 Tellenbach in Berne, with an interruption lived 1899, when he lived in Couvet. it opened 1900 in the capital its own Coiffeurgeschäft at the new lane.
Because of a physical handicap (lip column) and luckless loving developed it to the Eigenbrötler, which admits for its humor was. After a serious illness Tellenbach Suizid committed by a jump of the church field bridge. Numerous anecdotes circulated over it, by which however many might be invented. 1970 appeared the film denting brook Kari of briefly early over Tellenbachs life, with Walo Lüönd in the main role. Admits became Bernese from it the Ballade denting brook Kari of the Chansonniers Mani of matte.
Tellenbach was buried on that Bernese Bremgartenfriedhof, but its grave is in the meantime waived.
