Kasimir Fajans
Kasimir Fajans (* 27. May 1887 in Warsaw; † 18. May 1975 in Ann Arbor, Michigan) was Polish - an US-American chemist.
Fajans discovered at the same time 1913 with Frederick Soddy the shift law. In the same year it isolated with O. H. Göring from uranium a 1.2-Minuten activity (UX2), which it called as new element Brevium. The today's designation is the isotope with the mass number of 213 of the element protactinium.
