Since Jew-hostile actions in Berwangen were not committed mostly by foreign ones and under the population Jew hostileness prevailed, some Berwanger Jews returned after 1945. Also the Jewish cemetery was used again 1973 for a funeral, a Jewish place of worship exists however no more.
