Lambert I. (Lion)
Lambert I. the Bärtige († Florennes, 12. September 1015) from the house of the direction acres was count von Löwen since 994. He was a younger son of the count Reginar III. of hen gau.
He married the Karolingerin Gerberga around 985-990 (* probably 975, † 27. January after 1018), the oldest daughter duke Karl von Niederlothringen, who was since 987 French pretender to the throne and 991 by Hugo Capet one imprisoned-set and one eingekerkert up to its death in Orléans.
From this marriage the counts derived the lions their requirement on the duchy Niederlothringen, the Lamberts descendant starting from 1106 with Gottfried I. of lions to also realize could.
