the district bath Tölz Wolfratshausen is a district in the south of the governmental district Upper Bavaria in Bavaria. Neighbour circles are in the norththe district Munich, in the east the district bad brook, in the south the Austrian Land of the Federal Republic Tirol and in the west the districts mixing part churches, because home already gau and star mountain.

Geografie

the district belonged to the region upper country and is coined/shaped by the river valleys of the Isar and the Loisach as well as many seas. It covers both alpine and before-alpine areas. The Schafreuter in the Karwendel is the highest with 2.100 mMountain in the district.

history

the area today's districts bath Tölz Wolfratshausen belongs to the historical component of Bayerns. 1803 was formed in the today's circle area the regional court districts Tölz and wolf advice living. They belonged starting from 1808 to the Isarkreis (capital Munich), starting from 1838 to Upper Bavaria belonged.

1862 were established from the regional court district Tölz the office for district of the same name. The regional court district wolf advice living was assigned first to the office for district Munich on the right of the Isar, starting from 1879 /80 the office for district Munich II. The latter was dissolved 1902. Afterwards the office for district developedWolf-advice-live. The two offices for district Tölz and wolf advice living were called starting from 1939 districts.

With the regional reorganization in Bavaria 1972 the district bath Tölz and the largest part of the district wolf advice living was combined to the new district bath Tölz. Some municipalities of theDistrict wolf advice living came to the districts Munich, star mountain and bad brook. At the 1. May 1973 received the new district bath Tölz its current designation district bath Tölz Wolfratshausen.
