District Eggenfelden
the district Eggenfelden was a district in Lower Bavaria.
Up to its dissolution the district (Kfz characteristic EEC ) had 64 municipalities. The largest places were Eggenfelden, Arnstorf, Gangkofen and Massing.
1972 were combined the district Eggenfelden in the course of the regional reorganization in Bavaria with the district parish churches into the new district red valley. In addition two municipalities still each came from the former districts Griesbach and Vilsbiburg. At the 1. May 1973 received the district the today's designation Rottal Inn.
