Neighbour circles are in the north the district Dillingen a.d.Donau, inThe east the district Augsburg, in the south the district Unterallgäu, in the west the district new Ulm and in the northwest the districts of Baden-Wuerttemberg Alb Danube circle and Heidenheim.
