The job title teacher is not protected.

university teacher

university teachers is called the teaching personnel at universities and professional schools. For it also the designation lecturer is used.

One must differentiate thereby between professors, who arrange the teachings in their field of activity, oriented at their research results, the scientific coworkers (the scientific central tract), who with respect to arrangement with the chair teaches, teachers with respect to the university service, the special tasks usually in connection with the schools to have and persons with training order, who notice likewise special tasks in the theory at the chair.

In the sport the terms teachers and coaches are not always clearly from each other defined.
