Geografie

the highest point of the municipality lies with 1192 m.ü. M. at the high roofridge in the municipality part of Saig at the border to the municipality Titisee Neustadt. From the tower on the high roofridge out one has a view into Swiss and with clearest view into the French alps.

Lenzkirch predominantly lives on the tourism. The castle alto Urach is in Lenzkirch

traffic

Lenzkirch is because of the federal highway B 315 between work living in Switzerland and Titisee. The durchgangsstrasse in the summer is predominantly used by tourists.

The 1976 shut down railway line from Titisee and Kappel Gutachbrücke to Bonn village drove over Lenzkirch. There the course made a pointed turn in each case.

the most well-known Lenzkircher enterprise is the Testo AG, producer of environmental measuring instruments (temperature measurement among other things). Further larger enterprises are the companies Atmos medical technology GmbH & CO.KG, Mesa of precision turning parts of GmbH & Co.KG as well as Kadabell GmbH & Co.KG (Kadus). The company Kadus stands however briefly before the locking by the owners Procter & Gamble as well as Wella AG. Lenzkirch offers altogether 3,500 jobs.
