Leonberg is a city in the center of the Land of the Federal Republic Baden-Wuerttemberg, about 13 km to the west of Stuttgart. With approx. 45,000 inhabitants is it behind Sindelfingen and Böblingen the third biggest city of the district Böblingen. Leonberg is Large district town and as central center proven. Geografie

Leonberg rest upon over the right slope of the Glemstales,a spur, a Ausläufer of the Engelberg, which is again part of the Glemswaldes. The Glems enters the city coming in the southeast of Stuttgart, flows then after northwest, turns with the quarter Eltingen after northeast, flows afterwards by the western town center (thoseOld part of town lies on the right of the river), then in the south of the quarter Höfingen by and leaves the city in the northeast toward Ditzingen again.
