history

the earliest finds from the today's Gemeindegebiet originates from the Jungsteinzeit (Neolithikum): a hole hatchet with under Kulm, a Serpentin Steinbeil from Reidenau and in particular ceramic(s) in pc. Leonhard, protect-cut, biting village and gloss chess. The church in gloss chess was mentioned for the first time documentary 958/991, the castle love rock 1333. In the early modern times the area of hammer and scythe works was coined/shaped. 1956 developed the municipality love rock from the pool of the municipalities Hardegg, Liemberg and pulse. 1973 the municipality ensure integrated.

love rock has 3274 inhabitants. According to 2001 4.5%, to the Islam 1.2% admit themselves of the census to the Roman-catholic church 88% of the population of municipality, to the Evangelist church. As denominationless 4.3% call themselves.
