Ludwig Averkamp
Ludwig Averkamp (* 16. February 1927 in Velen, cathedral country) is a theologian and old archbishop of Hamburg.
life
from 1947 to 1957 completed Averkamp a study of theology and philosophy at the universities in Münster and in Rome, with graduation conclusion. In the year 1954 it received the Priesterweihe in Rome. Starting from 1957 it was Kaplan in Rheine and afterwards until 1965 was it Präses of the Bischöflichen of High School and Studienkonvikts Collegium Johanneum in Ostbevern with Münster. From 1964 to 1971 he was a director of the Bischöflichen Theologiekonvikts Collegium Borromäum in Münster and from 1971 to 1973 was he rain (leader) of the Bischöflichen of seminar for priests in Münster. In the year 1973 it was geweiht to the bishop in Münster and it was to 1983 regional bishop of the region Niederrhein in the diocese Münster. From 1986 to 1987 he was a deputy of the bishop von Osnabrück, whose successor became he 1987.
