Malaien
the Malaien are the largest people in Southeast Asia. They call themselves orang melayu (this applies only to Malaysia and Indonesia). In Southeast Asia it gives over 300 millions Malaien. Most of it live in Indonesia (about 205 millions) and on the Philippines (80Million)
The Malaien settles particularly on the Malaii peninsula west Malaysia, in Indonesia and on the Philippines. Their culture became by the Indian culture and since that 13. Century by the Islam coined/shaped. Today nearly all Malaien is Muslims, with exceptionthose on the Philippines, those Christians are predominant and some Malaien in the east of Malaysia.
