Manisch is a secret language developed in pouring in social fringe groups. It is a vocabulary of approx. 800 words always documents, that in connection with the local dialect (centralhessian)one uses. It is a Soziolekt, whose vocabulary draws mainly from the Romani as well as vestiges of the Jeni language contains. The language becomes for many years also in the group house Bonameser way (near Frankfurt mountain), a wild, by the city Frankfurt/M. waited camper parking bay, spoken.Also in the neighbouring Wetzlarer Finsterloh, in the Koblenzer area and Marburg is resident this language.
Although the language is threatened by becoming extinct and only few persons have a considerable vocabulary, nevertheless some terms in the local youth colloquial language live on.
