Marratxí is a fast growing municipality on the Spanish Baleareninsel Mallorca, which ranks among the northeast suburb range of the capital Palma. With 28.237 inhabitants (2005) it is one of the larger municipalities of the island, had however no principal place of the same name, but consists of a set of suburb settlements as SA Cabaneta, Pórtol and it Pont d'Inca. Marratxí is admits for the production of ceramic(s) and the production of dried Pfefferschoten.
