Mehlem
Mehlem is a local part of Bonn in the urban district Bad Godesberg. Mehlem is been because of the southernmost edge of Bonn in the already clearly narrowing Rhine Valley and borders on Rhineland-Palatinate. By B 9 and the railroad line is cut Mehlem into two parts. A small part of the island Nonnenwerth is there on Bonn cities.
Mehlem was mentioned for the first time documentary as place of the donation of a vineyard to the Bonn Cassiusstift in the year 804 as Mielenheim. 1935 became the place into the city Bad Godesberg in in common December and 1969 the quarter of Bonn.
