Melilla [meˈliʎa] (on Berberisch Mrič) an autonomous belonging to Spain is city (Ciudades autónomas) at the Mediterranean coast of Morocco. Like Ceuta it belongs politically to Spain, geographically however to Africa. Until 1995Melilla was regarded as part of the province Málaga.
