geographical situation

of Menslage lies in the north of the kind country at the transition to the old citizen cathedral country. The small hare flows through the Gemeindegebiet from the east to the west and is west the municipality part of Menslage canalized as cock moorland channel.

Menslage borders in the east at Quakenbrück and bath mountains, in the south on Nortrup, Kettenkamp, Eggermühlen and mountains, in the west on Herzlake (district Ems country) as well as in the north at Löningen and meal (Oldenburg) (both district Cloppenburg).
